The Coastal GasLink pipeline project is estimating 2,000 to 2,500 jobs during construction (approximately 23,000 – 31,000 full-time person years of direct employment).
The Project hopes to capitalize on underutilized local resources in B.C. by having a large portion of the construction-phase jobs made available to B.C. residents.
It is anticipated 15 to 20 permanent field positions will be created to support ongoing operations and maintenance once the Project is operational. This will involve a variety of positions including technical, administrative, safety, land, community relations, and leadership roles.
Coastal GasLink is committed to doing business with qualified contractors and suppliers in the Project area.
We will work with communities on a timely basis so local and Aboriginal candidates are aware of the qualifications and availability for exciting opportunities in construction of our leading edge pipeline infrastructure.
