Employment opportunities on Coastal GasLink include a variety of responsibilities, skill levels, and trade specializations.
Labourers, equipment operators, nurse practitioners, chefs, administrators, environmental monitors, skilled tradespersons, and project managers are just a few of the diverse jobs that are being created by the project.

The 670-kilometre project is divided into eight construction sections and includes compressor and meter stations. Coastal GasLink’s prime contractors are responsible for directly hiring workers for construction within their sections or facilities, with a focus on giving first priority to qualified Indigenous and local workers in northern B.C. Each of the prime contractors have signed agreements with the Indigenous communities in the area where they operate.
Prime contractors are employing the workforce directly. Please note that the opportunities made available by each prime contractor will vary according to need.
