The Kitimat Fire & Ambulance Service wishes to acknowledge TransCanada (Coastal GasLink) and Shell Canada (LNG Canada) for their financial assistance in conducting a Fire Protection Study for the District of Kitimat in 2013. The study by a specialist hired last July will allow the community and its emergency services to move forward, laying the groundwork for the industrial and residential growth that is currently taking place within the community and surrounding area.
