Coastal GasLink is inviting local job seekers and prospective subcontractors to join us at our Bear Lake Community Economic Summit, taking place Thursday, August 1 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m at the Bear Lake Community Hall. Attending residents will have the chance to connect with members of the Coastal GasLink team along with one of our prime contractors, SA Energy, to learn more about employment opportunities on the Project. SA Energy is looking to fill positions needed throughout the Project, including first aid attendants, general labourers, specialized labourers, swampers, bus drivers, truck drivers, spacers, stabbers, welders, equipment operators, mechanics and more.
Please find more details on the economic summit below. If you have any questions, please contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 1-855-633-2011.
We welcome anyone looking for employment and contracting opportunities on the Coastal GasLink Pipeline Project. Coastal GasLink will create nearly 2,500 high quality, well-paying jobs during the life of the Project. We’re committed to providing contracting opportunities to qualified Indigenous businesses, local contractors and suppliers along the pipeline route. There will be opportunities for B.C. businesses during three phases — pre-construction, construction and operations. Employment opportunities on the Project will include a variety of responsibilities, skill levels and trade specialization, with prime contractors employing the workforce directly.
