Coastal GasLink update on Prince George bus incident

As of this afternoon, 17 of the 18* individuals have been safely discharged, while one continues to be under observation. We are grateful for the care provided by hospital teams and the support shown by communities.

Update as of 2 p.m. June 16, 2023

Coastal GasLink is aware of a single vehicle incident near Prince George, B.C. this morning involving a chartered bus transporting workers employed by our camp provider.

At this time, we understand that 17 people are receiving treatment from local hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries. We are grateful for the support and care of those individuals, and that this did not result in a more serious accident. Any incident where workers or the community are involved is not something we take lightly.
